RBI Assistant Recruitment 2016

Reserve Bank of India has issued the notification for the recruitment of Assistant in various offices of the bank. This opportunity is not to be missed. Apply before November 28th, 2016.

Educational Qualifications

i) At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

ii) A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.

iii) Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

RBI Assistant Exam 2016

It has been decided by the Reserve Bank of India to revise the scheme of selection for recruitment of Assistants from the year 2016. Hence a new exam pattern has been put in place.

Under the revised scheme of selection, there shall be a two phase online examination i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by Interview. Candidates who shall qualify in Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for Interview .

In the earlier pattern of examination, there was only a single phase examination followed by Interview. But as per the latest pattern , an additional ‘Mains’ stage has been introduced. So now there will be Prelims+Mains+Interview.
