Install Amazon Kindle on Ubuntu 14.04

Install Amazon Kindle App on Ubuntu 14.04 & Ubuntu 14.10

– Install PlayOnLinux

– Download Amazon KindleForPC

wget http://kindleforpc.amazon.com/40514/KindleForPC-installer.exe

– Launch PlayOnLinux > Click on Install > Search for Amazon Kindle


– Click on Amazon Kindle > Click on Install > Click Next on the Welcome Screen > then select “Use a set-up file on my computer” and click Next


– Wait for PlayOnLinux wizard to setup and configure Wine > click the Browse button > select the downloaded Amazon Kindle executable file > Click next


– Wait for installer to install application


– Login with your Amazon account


– Now you have your Amazon Kindle For PC app running
