CTET Result 2016 has been declared for the Central Teacher Teacher Eligibility Test exam held on 18 September 2016
Result of CTET 2016 notifies exam marks and status of qualifying the exam. CBSE declared CTET Sep 2016 Result on 7 Nov 2016. To check it at ctet.nic.in / cbseresults.nic.in, you need roll number. On entering roll number in the CTET Sep 2016 Result page the marks and results are displayed. Those who get cut off marks in CTET Results, of Paper 1 are eligible to teach in classes I to V, and those who do so in Paper 2 are eligible to teach classes VI to VIII. Overall 653156 candidates appeared in the 10th edition of CTET and all can check result online.
Qualifying Marks Needed for CTET
As per NCTE notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad Dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.
School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
Authorities should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
Validity of the CTET Result
- The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be Seven (7) years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories
- There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
